Writing ~ How plastic is turned into polyester

We have been learning about how plastic bottles are turned into polyester!

What I found difficult in this writing was that I didn't put enough sentences in the last three paragraphs and I needed to add a good conclusion for the end. I also thought this was hard because I am used to free writing and I would rather free writing better then doing the same thing as the class.

HOW PLASTIC BOTTLES ARE MADE INTO POLYESTER!

Are you wearing plastic that is made into polyester? In the making of clothes they shred plastic bottles to make the polyester. If you buy plastic bottles from the Dairy when you throw them away chances are you are wearing the same plastic bottle that you drunk out of.

in this picture the people are sorting out the wool that got shredded again.

The recycling is then shredded and then gets shipped off to China. Firstly workers must separate the recycling into baths. The coloured plastics can float so the workers could just drain it. The sticker bath is more dangerous because it can burn you and it is full of highly dangerous chemicals.

The white plastic gets put into a oven and heated up. The spinning screw rotates at about 270 degrees celsius. Then shortly after this process, the melted plastic is pushed through a very small sive, as it merges through to the other side it turned into long but thin strings, because of the thin strings they have to go through another strings process.

The fabric gets combined and teared apart again and then shipped off somewhere to get made into a very rough cloth from a machine. The machine turns it into a smooth cloth and it gets spun and then gets teased out so it can be placed onto a bobbin.

A machine gets thousands of pieces of strings from the bobbins so it can be put made into a big piece of material, so it can be used for making and designing clothes to put on sale in a shopping mall and also for in a market for in the weekend.

Almost everyday our recycling is turned into clothing items we can wear?They were made as one torn up again but what happens when clothing material is wasted?

We have been learning about angles and shapes this week.

my story

It is 32○ degrees, hot sunny and boling. Clouds wave over the sun like they owned it. The clouds slowly drift away and the sun peeks through. Cameras are flashing, phones ringing, and crowds cheering.

One maybe two hundred people wait as to cheer the race’s on as the race starts everyone looks determined for the bikers to do their best. As the bikers skid across the roads in the middle of town a cold gust of wind increases.

As Sweat slowly drips down all of the rivals faces while their muscles work hard during the slow and painful race. Shortly after the race is over most of the contesters collapse on to the ground. They look so dehydrated they drained so much liquid out of themselves and some even look like they are about to throw up.

The Deserted Island

The deserted island and the memory loss

All i remember was falling into the ocean and drifting away from the boat and then waking up on a deserted island beach with no food or water or no one to talk to all i had to spear was a pocket knife oh yea and my name is milly and my birthday is on august the 23rd 2001.

I was stranded on an island alone or from what i thought was alone when i got hit by a branch and lost my memory and i didn't know where i was.

It was pitch black i don't remember a thing when i woke up again i looked like a wreck i had bear scratch marks on me and all my food that i thought i had gathered had been eaten i think i got attacked by a bear and then i heard a stick break i followed the noise with my pocket knife.

I thought i saw a human so i ran i ran as fast as i could then i stopped i thought to myself why am i running it was someone from my own species i should be asking questions about where i am or how i got here or who are you i said out loud as a strange and disgusting figure came towards me.

It was a man not much older then me he said that it was not safe in this part of the jungle and on this part of the beach so i followed the person he said his name was august i thought to myself i have heard that name somewhere but i couldn't remember i fainted right there right now i remembered waking up in august's arms i was surprised he was still there he said i suffered a short term memory loss and that he was my husband i said that was impossible and i didn't believe him then i said that i remembered him from somewhere but i didn't know where i screamed there was a bear behind us he dropped me and grabbed my hand and told me to make a run for it

I ran like i did at the marathon wait i stopped and yelled i remembered something i ran a marathon and i won it a wild horse trotted towards me i hopped on the horse it went to august and the bear was scared.

The bear was scared because it was not just any horse it was the king of the jungle and he was friends with the lion that ripped the bears leg off at least that's what i herd wait i just thought of something else the bear was savage and cruel and well hungry i wonder how august didn't get eaten straight away?

The horse led us to the fort in the jungle and then he said we would meet again when i get attacked by the same bear in 3 days

Three days later we ran out of food so i went out to try and find some food i went back to the same beach and then the same bear was on the same beach this time it didn't attack then as i walked up to it i fell into a trap it was as cold as the winter time and it was a bear trap it was a trap set by another bear it wasn't possible tho no one else was on the island and the bear it wasn't a man it was a woman and it was only protecting its babies and when the bear got me down from the tree trap i thought it was gonna eat me so i closed my eyes in fear…

Hot chip left on the beach Chips I am just a hot chip lying on the beach just trying to get a tan,you know the usual when I got a serious burn I went fully brown.I didn't realize that I drifted away from the shaw. Then out of nowhere i started falling apart like a rose on a wedding day. Then I thought I got saved but I wasn't saved.It was only the beginning… When I got swallowed by the whale I found I wasn't the only that thought i was saved,but it sadly wasn't a chip it was a piece of gum on a pavement.Did you know that a whale can eat something there size or just over there size. When I swallowed I got swallowed with a rugby ball and he was very sad. He had never been thrown around before and he always dreamed to be thrown around but his dream was completely over,we felt very sad for him then when we all went to sleep we heard a loud screech,it was a cupcake in the middle of the ocean and she was screaming because she was in a Whale's mouth almost falling asleep. Falling asleep in the mouth and it was the most dangerous place to fall asleep. When she woke up she was in the stomach with the rest of us half eaten old things then when we thought it was the end for all of us UNTIL the whale threw up all of the things he ate for the past year and a half it smelt soooo gross.So gross that all of us wanted to throw up but we just held our breath and pretended we were on a private beach Oh wait we were on a private beach we were just too busy to notice with the whole whale eating us thing. Then when we got there we partied like we were free and always were free.When we got there I found a new best friend and his name was dog and oh no he ate me this happened all over again and this time’ I wasn't so lucky I died and everyone missed me at least that's how I remember it . The end

Does music help people learn or distract them? In my opinion I believe that music helps me focus and it also relaxes me. personally,I think we should listen to music,because it helps some people relax.It also depends on the person if they can handle it or not... In my opinion I think music helps me and others learn because it is very relaxing and it helps me concentrate and if I have something else on my mind,then it helps me reflect back to my learning… In my opinion I think it can distract people because it just depends on if the person is used to the feeling of having music set in the background.If they aint used to it then of course they would fight against this but i think we should be allowed to listen to music because it is fun.
